Not much dirt gravel use, mainly just the road to Salmon Glacier in the rain and some highway construction gravel. Tires worked flawlessly in rain, muddy roads, dry roads, pavement, gravel, dirty roads, and etc. We had about 10 days with rain (and even a little snow) with pavement varying from 33 degrees up to about 90 degrees and about 1600 miles of Interstate. The front tire is probably good for 8-10k total for me and though the rear is getting a little noisy on the curves as it squares off.

I have a history of being very hard on tires. I normally get about 4-6K on a decent rear tires on my GSA. I normally also ride down to or past the wear bars if I can. With 100K on the GSA and about 30 something K on recently sold Wee Strom, I have tried dozens of different tires, sets, combinations and air pressures. I had passed on Avon tires the past few years after some bad experiences with them on my K1200RS and my old R1100R running Azaro and Storms, but Avon has really hit it out of the park on these tires. Hope they keep making them and don't mess with the formula or the factory, because I'm sticking with them for a while."

"Trekriders have amazing road grip (wet and dry) and good for light off road. The others in the group had Mitas E07 and TKC80 with no puncture problems. One of the punctures required 2 ropes to seal but eventually spat those out. I ended up with 3 ropes to get home. It could have been just dumb luck but the tires are very very soft so I believe if I had a more durable tire it would not have been a problem.

"
